DISCLOSURES

Evidence has limits. Risk is real.

These distinctions matter whenever research or engineering work is discussed.

Source and log screening

Reviewing a third-party source tree or its logs can identify a question for research. It is not a TREDVO independently reproduced backtest and says nothing verified about the original author's performance.

Historical development backtests

Backtests apply rules to historical data. They can be affected by data errors, overfitting, look-ahead bias, selection effects and assumptions about costs or fills. A historical pass is not proof of live profitability.

Independent candidate-family out-of-sample work

Untouched chronological data can provide a stronger challenge than development data, but it remains historical and subject to regime change, implementation differences and uncertainty.

Reused-family holdouts and portfolio checks

A holdout already used for a related family is not pristine independent validation. A predeclared secondary portfolio-check pass applies to that portfolio scope; it is not a new independently validated strategy or proof of economic superiority.

Controlled forward simulation

Paper or simulated operation observes decisions in a later period without verified real-money execution. Simulated fills and operational conditions may differ materially from live execution.

Audited live realized trading

Live evidence requires independently verifiable execution records and careful treatment of costs, capital, risk and selection. This site makes no claim of verified live profits or a current live trading track record.

Independent third-party research

Third-party ideas are assessed independently. A public repository is not a usage license. No third-party derived result is disclosed without source, license and attribution review. Any reconstruction would be our own analysis, not the original author’s performance.

General research limitations

Small samples, concentrated events, timing leakage, multiple testing, cost and slippage assumptions, and unrealistic broker risk can change a conclusion. Lifecycle labels such as archived do not change the underlying research verdict or evidence level.

Research and decisions

TREDVO does not provide trade signals, guaranteed outcomes or personalized investment advice through these pages. Futures trading can lead to substantial losses. This portfolio describes research and engineering work; visitors remain responsible for their decisions.
